TURKEY – TRAVELLING

By Manuela | July 4, 2011 | InBlog, Travel Journal, Travelling, Turkey

Snapshots

The Mediterranean coast of Turkey is a place of extraordinary , rather austere beauty and layers of ancient history. Much of the coast is accessible only by boat, ideally a traditional wooden Gulet.

Food
I love Turkish food! So full of flavour and all the many small dishes that you can savour before the meal even begins.
The bazaars are overflowing with all sorts of spices, dried vegetables, fruits.
The delicious flat breads that get stuffed with soft cheeses and fresh herbs and
then there are the Turkish sweets…. mmm
